In the second instalment of our Medieval queens series we talk about two powerful, if not a little crazy, women named Isabella. The first Isabella de Beaumont, from a powerful french noble family who married into the English nobility and made waves there pretty quickly. The second being the infamous Isabella of France, who despite her name was queen of England. The two Isabella's were the best of friends who turned into the worst of enemies.
